Together, Jason and Jessica founded J&J Custom Homes to bring Monticello homeowners a more personal, transparent, and dependable building experience — built on the same values they run their business by every day: honesty, communication, and craftsmanship that lasts.
Our Team
Owner
Jason has been building custom homes since 2015, with a foundation in remodeling, deck building, and rebuilding fire-damaged homes. His experience began alongside his dad, maintaining apartments and restaurants in Atlanta. Today, he leads J&J with a simple commitment: keep your word, do what's right, and take pride in every detail.
Owner & Scheduling
Jessica has worked alongside her husband, Jason, for 15 years and is the glue that holds J&J together. She coordinates schedules, supports customers, and keeps the team moving in the right direction. Her hands-on approach helps every project stay organized and every homeowner feel supported.
Sales
Skip brings energy, enthusiasm, and a natural connection with people to J&J. Since joining the team more than a year and a half ago, he's helped homeowners explore their options and take the first steps toward a custom home. He enjoys understanding what matters to each customer and helping them find the right fit.
Permitting & Project Coordination
Keli has been part of J&J for more than five years and holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics. She handles permitting, bookkeeping, and major selections such as windows, doors, and insulation. From early customer decisions to behind-the-scenes coordination, she keeps essential details on track.
Selections Specialist
Katlyn helps homeowners bring their style to life through finishing selections, including faucets, lighting, flooring, and tile. In her first year with J&J, she's become a key point of contact for customers throughout that process. She also coordinates orders and tracks deliveries to get the right products to the job site.
Site Manager
Dave brings more than 30 years of construction and remodeling experience to J&J. The son of a building inspector, he grew up in the industry and developed a broad understanding of how a well-built home comes together. He works alongside his wife, Shay, bringing practical knowledge and close attention to detail to each job site.

Shay has worked alongside her husband, Dave, in construction for 20 years. She helps coordinate schedules, keep work on track, and stay on top of the details that make a difference. Her experience and eye for detail make her an essential part of J&J's site management team.
